Dinner with Abraham Lincoln

My trip to the Corydon reenactment included a special evening.  Friday night, prior to the reenactment, I went to a dinner at The Inn of the Six-Toed Cat in Allerton, Iowa.  The guest of honor was none other than President Abraham Lincoln as portrayed by Lance Mack.  After dinner, Mr. Lincoln delivered a few remarks to the well-fed audience.  He told of the difficulties facing the nation during the Civil War years and shared a few humorous remarks.

These photos give you some idea of the evening.  Everyone enjoyed a fine meal and socializing with the President.  Stories and laughter filled the dining room.  THANK YOU Mr. Lincoln for taking time to pose for so many photos.
