Meet the Cast – Part 2

Without a Country was fortunate to have an awesome cast.  These photos cover some more of the the actors who were part of the Home Guard, local militia, etc.  In some cases, the actors did double duty.

Brandon Christensen (above left) played the part of Jim Hartley.  He was a Unionist scout who led recruits along the under ground railroad through the mountains in Watauga County, North Carolina over into Carter County, Tennessee.  They generally passed up Dutch Creek, near the Clark families.  He was part of the Battle on Beach Mountain.

Ethan Doak (above right) had several roles.  He was Cal Hartley in the Battle on Beach Mountain.  He was William Sparks at the Bell Massacre in Limestone Cove.  And he also served in Home Guard scenes.
